Invisalign is a combination of two words: “invisible” and “align”, and it truly does just that. The Invisalign system is composed of a set of clear aligners which are designed to fix your malocclusion without the need for braces.

Each aligner snugly suits your unique bite and steadily changes its position. They are created from a strong medical grade thermoplastic material exclusively made for Invisalign. The plastic is so thin and clear that it will be difficult for others to identify. If you are worried about any change in your speech patterns, there is no need to be concerned. Almost every Invisalign patient reports no differences while wearing Invisalign.

Invisalign aligners are removable. As a result, there are no food restrictions. You can also clean your teeth more easily and completely. Just remember to take out your valuable custom-made aligner and protect it by placing it in the case we gave you and to put it back in when you are done. If you notice any deposit from your mouth, you may want to rinse it or clean it before snapping it back into place.

Every six to eight weeks, you will be given three new sets of aligners. You will throw away one and start wearing the next one every two weeks. Invisalign aligners are unique in that they not only can direct the amount of movement but also the timing of it, allowing for a better correction process.
